The Bicknell family office, called 1248 Holdings, launched a new business called CopperPoint that plans to acquire and roll up greatly fragmented home services companies such as plumbing, electrical and HVAC providers. The goal, CEO Bobby Hamilton says, is to help the companies grow and professionalize their workforce.
