Hank Hudson Brewing Co., a new brewery at the The Fairways of Halfmoon in Saratoga County, opened last week.
The brewery, adjacent to the clubhouse at 17 Johnson Rd. in Halfmoon, comes from owners Darren Van Heusen and Chris Crounse.
Van Heusen and Crounse are history teachers at Scotia-Glenville High School. They started brewing beers together in the basement of the golf course's clubhouse in 2013. After taking beer making courses at Schenectady County Community College, and shadowing the brewers…
