New CEO completes round trip through Roche back to Genentech


A onetime Genentech Inc. executive who went on to spend four years with Swiss parent organization Roche was named Thursday as CEO of the South San Francisco biotech pioneer.

Alexander Hardy will succeed Bill Anderson as the top executive of Roche's North American biotech operations as of March 1, the company said.
