New date set for trial of Valley residents accused in stock manipulation scheme

The four defendants charged in the case had allegedly concealed a co-defendant's identity as the owner of certain stocks, bank accounts and entities from stock regulators, brokerage firms and tax authorities while also allegedly converting restricted stock into unrestricted shares so they could be immediately sold. Two of the co-defendants are set to stand trial, while two others have submitted plea agreements and face sentencing hearings.
