New option for health care coverage may be a savings opportunity for employers (podcast)


The Affordable Care Act requires employers of a qualifying size (50 employees or larger) to provide healthcare coverage to full-time employees, or they will be subject to penalties. But reimbursing individual employees for purchasing their own coverage through an online marketplace doesn’t fulfill this requirement — yet.
