New partnership to develop short-term beds for mental health and substance abuse care


The Hawaii Department of Health announced its partnership with Wahiawa General Hospital to provide short-term mental health "stabilization" beds in a hospital setting. Currently in the development phase, the project anticipates providing as many as 30 beds by next year.
