Benson’s Restaurant Group is expanding its portfolio in Milwaukee’s Third Ward neighborhood by taking over the space recently vacated by Wahlburgers.
The new, yet-to-be-named restaurant, will be at 322 N. Broadway. Wahlburgers closed in that space after franchisee Hy-Vee Inc., a supermarket chain, changed its strategy for the restaurant business.
Milwaukee developer Robert Joseph of Joseph Property Development LLC owns the building, which had been home to Jennaro Brothers Produce.
