New sushi concept replaces Tokoname Restaurant in Kaimuki


A new Japanese sushi concept has replaced Tokoname Restaurant & Sushi Bar in Honolulu's Kaimuki neighborhood, which closed in May.

Otoro Hawaii Fusion, which opened last month at 3008 Waialae Ave., specializes in sashimi, sushi, tempura an French-influenced flambe dishes. A grand opening will be held Sept. 26.
