New York apartment rents are dropping, study says


Apartments may be getting a bit cheaper in New York City.

That's according to RentHop’s data scientists who recently mapped out rental prices for one-bedroom apartments by subway stop.

The results come about a month after we reported that the national median two-bedroom rent was down 0.56 percent since January, to $1,247, and that the median one-bedroom rent in New York City was around $2,773.
