New York developer taps Coastal Construction to build apartment tower in downtown Tampa


A general contractor that specializes in luxury high rises has been tapped to build a 35-story apartment tower in downtown Tampa.

Coastal Construction, based in South Florida, will be the general contractor on Silverstein Properties' project at 504 E. Cass St. The tower will include 450 apartments, 500 parking spaces and 9,000 square feet of commercial space. It will also feature a pool, tenant lounges with workspaces and a fitness center.

Arquitectonica is the tower's architect and interior designer.
