Nonprofit helps build generational wealth through homeownership with Wells Fargo’s support


Rochelle Washington wanted to be a homeowner and provide a legacy for her children. After chatting with a friend who had just purchased a home with the help of a local nonprofit, she applied to a financial literacy program called The Family Stabilization Plan to improve her purchasing prospects.

The Family Stabilization Plan was offered by Build Wealth Minnesota Inc., (BWM) which works to “strengthen underserved communities by empowering families to build sustainable social and economic wealth.”…
