North Carolina CEO tapped as chair of Rock & Roll Hall of Fame


The CEO of a Durham-based company has golfed with famous rocker Alice Cooper and hung out with rapper LL Cool J. And no, it wasn’t to discuss the company’s semiconductors.

Gregg Lowe, CEO of semiconductor maker Wolfspeed (NYSE: WOLF) has been elected as chair for the board of directors of the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame and Museum (Rock Hall). Though not a professional musician himself, Lowe has served on the board since 2010 and has a passion for the organization’s educational outreach.
