North Carolina terminates incentives for failed economic development promises


A handful of companies that never met their milestones tied to new jobs for North Carolina expansions have had their incentives pulled. That includes Intercontinental Capital Group, a direct mortgage lender that had announced plans in 2020 to create 500 jobs in Mecklenburg County.
