Time is running short for anyone hoping to check out one of the area's 20 highest-rated barbecue restaurants.
Phil and Linda Hopkins, the owner of Smokin' Guns BBQ in North Kansas City, announced in a Facebook post they are retiring and their restaurant at 1218 Swift Ave. will close on Nov. 11.
Smokin' Guns BBQ will be open 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. Tuesday through Saturday for the next three weeks.
