North Kansas City Hospital received a $3 million donation, the largest gift in its history.
The gift came from Nancy Botham, who received neurosurgery and other care at the hospital. Botham, who left the gift after her death as part of her estate, said she made it in honor of the physicians, nurses and staff who cared for her.
