N&R reaches agreement to sell site, reportedly to Westin hotel developer


The News & Record is under contract to sell its 6.5-acre property in downtown, reportedly to one of the principal players in efforts to develop a Westin Hotel across Davie Street from the building.

The News & Record itself is reporting that an agreement was reached May 4, but without disclosing the other party that is expected to close on the property in the third quarter of 2019.
