Heal, the Los Angeles startup that enables doctor house calls, is saving its users trips to the emergency room and urgent care.
The company, which has delivered more than 110,000 house calls since February 2015, surveyed 6,000 patients who used Heal for the first time in 2018.
Some 56 percent of those users said that they would have gone to the ER or urgent care if Heal had not been available, potentially saving thousands of dollars.
