One Year Later: Klempfs talks challenges and successes of Cowford Chophouse


After so long in production, it’s hard to believe that the Cowford Chophouse has been operating for a year.

The high-end steak restaurant celebrates its one-year anniversary on Oct. 26.

Jacques Klempf bought the Bostwick building in July 2014 for $165,000 at auction. According to building permits, Forking Amazing Restaurants spent at least $6.4 million on the project, which included multiple delays, owing in part to the complex restoration of the historic exterior.
