Online farmers market Seasonal Roots plots bigger D.C.-area expansion


After coming through a pandemic surge, online farmers market Seasonal Roots is looking to expand to the Baltimore-D.C. metro area.

The Richmond company provides seasonal fruits and vegetables as well as an assortment of local meats and cheeses. Customers order on a weekly basis though an online marketplace. Boxes are packaged and shipped to customers’ homes in Richmond, Fredericksburg, Alexandria and parts of Maryland.
