OP dials up approval for $48.5 Edison District project


The Overland Park City Council voted Monday to approve a five-story office-over-retail building and a four-level parking garage that will add some height to downtown.

The final development plan for the Edison District was delayed for several months after residents expressed concerns about the $48.5 million mixed-use project's height and effects on traffic and parking.
