Oregon health agency urges Portland hospitals to contract with Centene’s Trillium


Oregon Health Authority Director Patrick Allen sent sternly worded letters to Portland hospital system leaders in response to their refusal to do business with a new entrant to the Medicaid market.

Allen said Centene Corp.'s Trillium Community Health Plan Inc. had contacted the agency “about difficulties in forming Coordinated Care Organization provider contracts in the Portland metro area.”
