Original ChopShop lands credit for expansion

Health-conscious restaurant chain Original ChopShop is ready for its next move in its growth plan after securing a senior credit facility from BBVA Compass.

The restaurant, which opened its first location in 2013 in Old Town Scottsdale, has been in growth mode this year, opening three new locations, two in the Phoenix area and one in Dallas.

The company did not disclose financial terms of the credit facility. It said the funding package would allow Original ChopShop to open eight to 10 new restaurants…
