Paradigm now controls a square block of Capitol Riverfront

It took years for Paradigm Development Co. to get a toehold in Capitol Riverfront. On Wednesday, that grew into a foothold.

The Arlington-based developer has acquired two lots in the 1000 block of New Jersey Avenue SE between K and L streets for $19.75 million. With that buy, which includes the Capitol Riverfront branch of Eagle Academy Public Charter School and a taxicab repair facility, Paradigm now controls the entire square bounded by New Jersey Avenue and First, K and L streets SE.
