Penny's Coffee has indefinitely closed both of its cafes, in Minneapolis and Wayzata, apparently due to staffing challenges.
Last week, Penny's Coffee said it was temporarily shuttering its downtown Wayzata cafe near Lake Minnetonka while it worked to add more employees to its roster but its downtown Minneapolis cafe, located in the lobby of an office tower at 100 S. Washington Ave., would remain open with regular hours. (See the full announcement on Instagram below.)
