Philadelphia-area home sales continue to decline but prices are still on the rise as local inventory remains tight.

The number of closed sales in the region fell in March to 5,815, down 21.4% compared to the same month a year ago, according to data from Bright MLS. The median home price, meanwhile, increased 5.5% to $324,995.
