PreventScripts raises more than $1 million, looks to speed up growth


Health-tech firm PreventScripts is looking to grow following its latest capital raise.

The Paducah, Kentucky-based startup has secured a $1.5 million round of funding, according to a news release, led by venture capital firms Keyhorse Capital and iSelect Fund, with participation from angel investors.

PreventScripts’ remote monitoring app allows physicians to follow a patient’s progress in between doctor visits, tracking metrics such as blood pressure, weight, blood sugar and body mass index.…
