Prime Healthcare hospital opens $1.6M senior behavioral health unit


St. Joseph Medical Center opened its Senior Behavior Health Center last week. The $1.6 million inpatient behavioral health unit hosts 23 beds for geriatric patients diagnosed with mental health conditions, such as dementia, confusion, depression and anxiety.

St Joseph is owned by for-profit hospital operator Prime Healthcare Services.
