Public entities are rethinking their space needs along with everyone else


While the real estate market has slowed amid a fast-changing economic landscape, public institutions have kept up a steady pace. Private companies are susceptible to changing winds within the financial system, but public institutions like schools and universities have more consistency, said Will Haynes II, an executive vice president with CBRE's Dallas-Fort Worth Advisory & Transaction Services team.
