Q1 data shows shifting housing inventory, points to signs of more housing starts on the horizon


San Antonio’s inventory of quick move-in homes, or homes nearing or at completion, surged to more than double the average of the last five years in the final quarter of 2022. Because those are homes that are built without a buyer already under contract, mounting QMI inventory is worrying to builders.
