REVIEW: ‘A Chorus Line’ dazzles to open glamorous new Rouse Theatre at Playhouse in the Park


At one point in “A Chorus Line,” the director Zach asks dancers auditioning for his show, “What do you do when you can’t dance anymore?” It is a question that stops them dead.

Then, Diana steps forward and sings that gorgeous song by Marvin Hamlisch and Edward Kleban, “What I Did for Love.” After all the grit, the hard work, the rejections and the perseverance, this life is a gift that they will never regret and never forget.
