REVIEW: Dalia Stasevska returns to lead majestic Sibelius Fifth at CSO


Exactly a year after making her debut with the Cincinnati Symphony Orchestra, guest conductor Dalia Stasevska made a welcome return to Music Hall. We don’t know whether the Ukrainian-born Finnish conductor is in the running for CSO music director. But the program she led on Nov. 25 offered another glimpse of her considerable interpretive powers across a varied swath of repertoire. And the view this time around was just as convincing. Most importantly, the orchestra played magnificently for her.
