REVIEW: ‘Dettingen Te Deum’ launches May Festival’s 150th anniversary on festive note


The trumpets soared and the May Festival Chamber Choir lifted jubilant voices. The Cincinnati May Festival opened its 150th season on Saturday on a celebratory note with Handel’s “Dettingen Te Deum,” a work that was performed on its very first concert in May of 1873.
