Rezoning for Shelby County subdivision to be reconsidered


The Shelby County Planning Commission plans to reconsider a prior decision to approve a rezoning request for the Rushing Farms subdivision at Caldwell Mill Road and Indian Crest Drive.

According to the Shelby County Reporter, the rezoning would have allowed for lot sizes smaller than 1 acre, which is the minimum under the property's current zoning.

Harris Doyle Homes is the developer of the subdivision.
