San Jose mobile home park settles, paving the way for 700 new homes


A longstanding conflict that dates back to 2016 between the tenants of Winchester Ranch Mobile Home Park in San Jose and developer PulteGroup was resolved on Thursday, according to a report in the Mercury News.

A settlement was reached, wherein the site’s more than 100 residents — all of whom are senior citizens — will be relocated to housing on the same 16-acre plot of land at 555 S. Winchester Blvd. to make way for the construction of nearly 700 new housing units.
