San Marcos film studio project continuing; Meeting sheds more light on ambitious plan


After a large group of protesters, dubbed "Protect the River," had gathered at the San Marcos City Council meeting on June 28 to express concern about the $267 million Hill Country Studios, Council met again July 5 to attempt to clear up confusion and provide more information to the public about the project in the La Cima master-planned community at 6202 W. Centerpoint Road. The meeting yielded several big takeaways.
