Seafood market to open inside new Raleigh food hall

Locals Seafood has begun construction on a fish market that will be inside the new Transfer Company Food Hall in downtown Raleigh.

The food hall, at 500 E. Davie St. inside the former Carolina Coach Garage and Shop, already has commitments from tenants such as Boulted Bread & Jubala Coffee, Videri Chocolate Factory, Saxapahaw General Store and Che Empanadas.

Locals Seafood’s fish market will also include an oyster bar and restaurant, which will focus on North Carolina seafood.
