Seattle’s second Amazon Go store is set to open this fall


Amazon.com Inc. is opening its second checkout-free convenience store in Seattle.

Tucked into the base of the newly built Madison Centre office tower at the corner of Fifth Avenue and Marion Street, the newest Amazon Go is significantly larger than the 1,800-square-foot store in Amazon's Day 1 skyscraper that opened to the public in January.

The Madison Centre location will be closer to 3,000 square feet, according to building permits filed with the city of Seattle.
