Seventy percent of teens call mental health a top concern


Seventy percent of American teens see depression and anxiety as major issues among their peers.

The Pew Research Center surveyed teens on significant issues facing their age group and found that seven in 10 teens believe mental health issues are widespread, and it’s a concern shared by teens regardless of race, socio-economic status or gender.

Anxiety and depression are seen as more significant among that age group overall than bullying, drug addiction, drinking alcohol, poverty, teen pregnancy…
