A local Wells Fargo & Co. (NYSE: WFC) executive was recently tapped to lead the eastern division of the bank's newly formed Food, Beverage and Agribusiness group, which is part of the specialized industries division of commercial banking.
Shannan Townsend, who is based in Charlotte, took over her new role in June. She will oversee the agribusiness group in 25 states, including North Carolina, and eastern Canada.
