Shawnee project delayed as developer seeks to ‘get this last piece nailed down’


The developer of the $92.6 million Bellmont Promenade project in Shawnee is delaying its plan again as seeks to "get this last piece nailed down," the Shawnee Mission Post reports.

Legacy Development was scheduled to appear before the Shawnee City Council on Monday night, instead it withdrew its requests for public financing and for the rezoning of a portion of the project.
