Sheraton becomes next hotel near BWI to sell as the airport grows


A Sheraton three miles from Baltimore/Washington International Thurgood Marshall Airport is the latest hotel to trade hands near the fast-growing airport.

Canada-based Vista Group of Cos. acquired the 203-room Sheraton Baltimore Washington Airport Hotel from Chesapeake, Virginia-based LTD Hospitality Group.

Terms of the deal were not disclosed. The sale closed May 23.

The property is Vista's only in Maryland, according to its website.
