Short-term rental regulations again under scrutiny at Austin City Hall


Austin City Council wants to revisit an issue that made waves in 2016, although the city's short-term rental laws have been tangled up in state courts since then. Austin Code Department data indicates the vast majority of the short-term rentals in the city are illegally providing housing to hundreds of thousands of visitors.
