The Short North is losing a longtime tenant, a Columbus fast-casual brand is expanding and restaurant and bar owners are readying for the launch of sports betting in Ohio.

The Columbus-based chain has had a restaurant in the Short North since 1968. That ends this weekend as it will close the space it opened in 2017, which was part of a redevelopment of the site the restaurant had long called home.
