Amazon.com Inc. plans to split its second headquarters between two locations rather than picking one site.

That is according to a Nov. 5 afternoon story by the Wall Street Journal that reported Seattle-based Amazon (Nasdaq: AMZN) wants to evenly distribute the estimated 50,000 HQ2 employees. The WSJ cited an unidentified person familiar with the matter.
