Stamps and quarters: See which notable women the U.S. government will honor in 2023


The U.S. Postal Service will honor Supreme Court Justice Ruth Bader Ginsburg and author Toni Morrison with stamps next year and the U.S. Mint will circulate five new quarters featuring notable women as part of it to its four-year American Women Quarters program.

The Ginsburg stamp features an oil painting of her facing the viewer in her black judicial robe and trademark white collar. Ginsburg died in 2020 at the age of 87.
