Starlight CEO announces retirement, names Rood-Clifford as successor


Starlight Theatre CEO Richard Baker announced his upcoming retirement to attendees ahead of a performance of The Prom.

Baker, who has led Starlight since March 2014, said Wednesday night he wants to live closer to his aging parents in the St. Louis area. His retirement will be official in March 2023, but Starlight already has named a successor.
