Starwest Botanicals to expand direct-to-consumer business


Sacramento global spice merchant Starwest Botanicals has revamped its consumer-facing website to help educate people about the benefits of spices, teas, herbs and natural remedies.

The change comes about a year after the nearly 50-year-old company was bought by Pittsburgh-based private equity firm Incline Equity Partners in a deal valued at around $106.6 million.
