Struggling Houston-based health care co. shutters two facilities


Houston-based Nobilis Health Corp., which has experienced difficulties in the past year, closed two facilities.

Nobilis announced that it closed the Surgeons’ Premier Medical Center facility in Sugar Land and the Scottsdale Liberty Hospital in Scottsdale, Arizona, according to a Sept. 13 filing with the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission. Both closures were effective Sept. 13.
