Stryker strikes deal for Wright Medical


Wright Medical is on the move again.

The Netherlands-based Wright Medical N.V. has agreed to be acquired by Michigan-based Stryker for about $5.4 billion.

Wright Medical was founded in Arlington, Tennessee, in 1950. After merging with Amsterdam-based Tornier N.V. in October 2015, the company has maintained its U.S. headquarters in Memphis.
