Taco Bell brings alcohol to new downtown Phoenix restaurant

Taco Bell is putting some beer with its burritos as it opened one of its Cantina restaurants in downtown Phoenix.

The eatery at the Collier Center on the east side of downtown was recommended for approval of its liquor license by the Phoenix City Council earlier this month. It officially opened Dec. 23, according to KTAR.com.

Taco Bell, which is owned by Yum Brands Inc. (NYSE: YUM), has opened 15 of the Cantina concepts around the country since the first debuted in Chicago during 2015.
